Day Two: A Disaster No More

Dear readers,
have you ever listened to a song and thought to yourself "hey! this song sounds so much like me?" At this moment i'm having a sort of "deja vu" moment. As i listen to the song "Beautiful Disaster" by John McLaughlin i remember the former 15 year old me. I've always been a pretty much happy person, but i'll admit that i thought i didn't "belong" in society. At least at the time. You see readers, i actually have Aspergers syndrome,a higher functioning version of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and at the time my parents and i were in the middle of a messy law suit with my school district. I was, at the time, in a living hell. My class-mates didn't understand me, my teachers hated me, and i felt like an alien walking among earth. I remember the first time i listened to "beautiful disaster," i was in my room alone, crying yet again. The song moved me, but even though that time of my life was such a hard one, it also made me a stronger person. As i grew older, i cared less about what people thought of me and met people who accepted me. But yeah, isn't life supposed to challenge you? You can't always be happy. All you can do is live your life to the fullest and at the end of the day you just have to trust that you have done the best you can. So readers, have you ever had a similar experience? If so, what song can you relate to?

Until Tomorrow,
Sara

Day One: Hello World!

Dear Readers,
Hi i bet you wonder why I'm writing this blog. I'm wondering why too, but the only reason i could come up with is that i want to broadcast my feelings about music and life to the world. I've seen a lot of blogging lately and thought hey, why don't I, Melchior Gabor, an Aquarius with a Sagittarius rising, get my feelings out to the world. I've got a lot to tell and hopefully you guys will like it. But yeah, i am new at this, so please bear with me. Let's just see how this all pans out. One can never know what will happen because that's the future, and we are here, right now. So yeah, here starts day one i guess of my one year adventure into the world of music!
until tomorrow,
Sara
